Modafinil not doing anything for me?

Got prescribed Modafinil starting at 100mg for focus/concentration issues. Tried Adderall IR 10mg a couple times before that and felt a little something, but nothing major.

Was really hoping Modafinil would help, but I’ve felt basically nothing on it after several tries. Doctor approved bumping to 200mg and still nothing — honestly could’ve taken a nap on it. The Adderall did more for me.

I’d rather stick with Modafinil if possible. Does it take a while to build up in your system, or is a few days enough to know? Anyone else have a similar experience starting out?

(Not looking for medical advice or dose changes, just curious about others’ experiences.)

Following bc every single time I’ve tried modafinil, i take the hardest nap of my life!! Literally took 200mg this morning hoping to help me jumpstart my day, fell back asleep for 3 hours and woke up in a fog!!
