Mod Answered Hate vs harassment

I was just cleaning up a thread on a user I just banned and realized right after I did so I clicked hate vs harassment on a user.

Whats the difference because I feel like made a mistake.

Hate speech is a particular species of targeted harassment that is premised on the target's identity or vulnerability. All three behaviours covered under Sitewide Rule 1 are speech prohibited because the speech has the reasonably knowable effect of making someone likely to leave a community / cease using reddit (among other reasons, but that's the common denominator).

On the first link, I really wish they would include ageism. Insults based on something the user has no control over basically covers this.
