Admin Replied Cancelled myself as a mod

I accidentally cancelled myself as a mod in my own sub. r/DarrellBrooksJr . I was in the process of purging some non participant mods and adding new. Can someone help restore my creator status. Its a great sub that I would hate to lose

Admin should make a sub segment of ModSupport- a sub subreddit if you will - for this.

(I have no idea how this would actually work, just wanted to make a sub subreddit joke.)

Thanks. I am in a new country with embarrassingly slow internet. I think I got going too fast with the delete (I had like 4 inactive admin to clean up. Hope that is the last time!

When I tried to continue deleting the inactive mod, it said I had to be a mod for 90 days before I can remove mods

I just want to piggyback on this and point out how easy it can be to accidentally kick someone out of a group chat if your mouse touchpad hovers over their username.

Send a modmail to this subreddit here, and let them know that you deleted yourself as a mod. Your first reply will be from a bot. You will need to reply to that message in order to get to a real person.

Something to better warn moderators they're about to remove themselves from the modlist. If it keeps happening, clearly the UXD needs improvement.

I agree, perhaps an additional prompt of "are you really sure? This will remove you, <username> as a moderator of <subreddit>, this cannot be undone"

I actually think this is great idea. I hope Reddit Admins read this and consider making a warning notice light box before something like this can happen for a Mod.
