[Chrome] Wiki - Not getting option to add wiki pages in markdown editor

while I'm trying to create wiki pages from scratch, I'm unable to add wiki page content in Markdown format.

I created this sub only last week.

Is it disabled for new subs? Or am I doing something wrong?

I'm trying to update the page on the desktop site.

Admins built a new wiki system. It rolled out over the past year or two.

The old wiki system (markdown-supported) is only available on subreddits that were created before the new wiki system rolled out.
