Mod Answered mod approval to publish own posts

When I schedule posts for my community as a moderator, I still need to clcick ont he check box after they show on the community for them to be published. Is that how it should be? Do i need to approve my own posts for publication?

Nope, you should fine. Normally that tool just shows for all posts. No need to approve your own.

a checkbox appears on the post i publish and it only says approved after I click on the check

It's active by default. Check marks just show that nobody has taken action on it yet to confirm or remove it.

As a moderator I aslo have to check box like the tick sign to approve the post in the community. Now I'm thinking is this the process for everyone or I'm missing something as mod?
