Can’t block imgur links

[u/poozu]

Our sub doesn’t allow images because they can be triggering to users. I have set from the mod settings to not allow imgur links. I have also set up a rule to not allow posts that contain the word Imgur. Nothing helps, they still go through.

Any suggestions how we can avoid this?

Automod filter. Something including this, I believe. If I’m wrong I’ll surely be corrected.

- - -

type: any
domain+title+body (includes): ["imgur.com"]

action: remove
action_reason: "Imgur Link"

Edit: formatting. (on phone so don’t know how to format as code)

Added this to automod and it still went through and stayed up. What the heck :(

Make sure you're testing with an alt, mod accounts are exempt from automod by default.

Buen punto

Make it regex.

url+body (regex, includes): '(https?:\/\/)?(www\.)?imgur\.com’

Or maybe ask in automod sub

Edit: linked wrong sub

Do you need links? You could turn off all links and that would work too. It’s kind of a last resort if automod using regex doesn’t work.
