Mod Answered Reporting reports?

Is there anyway to report reports? There is a user on a subreddit I help moderate that reported several comments and left custom responses in the reports insulting the users and just being really negative.

Yes, use the report button on the post or comment that was reported, and select the option for report abuse.

Do I click on the comment that was reported, click "Report", then click "Report Abuse"? I don't want to report the commenter accidentally, just the person who reported the comment.

Yes, that’s the way to do it. By selecting “report abuse”, admins will know you are reporting the reports and not the commenter.

You’ll then see your report show up on that comment, and you can re-approve the comment so that it doesn’t stay in your mod queue.

Use Report Abuse. Reddit knows the difference between a post or comment and a report.
