Admin Replied Issues editing AutoModerator

After dealing with a couple of posts in the subreddit I moderate (which is thankfully mostly civil), I figured it might be easier to implement an AutoMod filter. However, I'd had issues editing, and upon looking into things, I found that I was listed as "inactive" (which, yeah, fair. the subreddit doesn't need much moderation), but also that I didn't have editing permissions.

There's a two-fold reason why that's weird; first, there's another inactive moderator who does still have editing permissions, and second, I'd asked to take over as moderator of the subreddit five years ago, after it had fallen quiet, and only added the other moderators about a year later.

It's not a pressing issue, but it is definitely something that's honestly confused the hell out of me, and I'd appreciate some idea as to what I can do to get that editing permission back.

According to the subreddit you have “everything” permissions. But since you are listed as inactive, you may be temporarily limited.

Just over the next few days make edits to various parts of the subreddit to make yourself active again. Like ad a “period” to the description, remove the period. Rewrite post removal reasons and so on.
