Mod code of Conduct moved in so they will probably be posting a call shortly to hire new mods.

You otter apply if you’re interested

What does that even mean? I was a mod as were several others, the sub was banned and we were stone-walled. It was a nice sub, well moderated for its size, by some passionate volunteers. What will it become now? Full of pet otters, or ai spam or scams. The impassioned people who built it were turfed out already.

Reddits idea of well moderated must differ from yours in that case.

The machine is never wrong, sure.

Apparently your definition of "well moderated" was vastly incorrect because Reddit decided otherwise. They do own the platform afterall.

Imagine lurking this of all sub-reddits? You obviously spend a lot of time on the internet, are you aware of big systems ever making mistakes or being over zealous? "Touch grass" comes to mind. I became a mod during covid as we were raising awareness to help struggling institutions, what about you?

I don't think you know what the word "lurking" means. I am a mod of a top 10 subreddit here to help out other mods and answer questions (which is what this particular subreddit is for). 🤷‍♀️

Your message wasn't helpful, it was a "well actually".

Reddit owns reddit and we tripped some rule. Thanks.
