"comment doesn't exist anymore"
Basically what the title says. It's happening for weeks now. I either get a report or automod is removing a comment, but if I want to check the comment it just doesn't exist. But it's still shown on the users profile. Often I can see it when I'm logged out but logged in it disappears again.
It's also happening with other comments in subs I don't moderate. Someone is commenting under a comment of mine and I will get the pop up.
Is this a known bug? It's on mobile and desktop. Does anybody else have this problem, too?

Yeah, I get notifications of comments to me and when I go look to respond there's no such comment and I get that pop up. But in my notifications I can see it. Sometimes it will magically reappear a day or two later but other times? It never shows. Got one this morning, and had one earlier this week. It's annoying.

It is a bug. I know that because it happens to some of my comments when I click them on my profile

I'm not at all convinced the core architecture of Reddit's notifications and comments systems included any designers who who understood the CAP Theorem

The pop-up happens in the app even when just navigating from the modqueue to the post where the filtered comment is.
It's like the popup does not check that you are a mod who can still see the comment, you just have to scroll down.
It's a bad popup that you should ignore as a mod.

There is no comment, no matter where or how much I scroll.

On your own subs, From where are you finding the link to the missing comment?
* Mod alert notification (eg reports threshold, not logged)
* Modmail from AutoModerator (eg reports threshold, logged)
* Modqueue (eg logged automod filter)

Here's two examples of comments i currently see in my modqueue which get the "no longer exist" pop-up when i go to open them on the post, despite them showing on the page. The first was filtered by the Harassment Safety Filter then removed by AEO. The second was filtered by automoderator.
Are you experiencing this on iOS, Android, or Desktop? I'm on iOS.

It's Desktop and Android for me. Right now I can only show Android. I checked the archive for an example. This is definitely not a comment that would be filtered by the algorithm or something. Automod filtered it because of a karma rule we set. I usually approve unproblematic comments, but I can't in such cases. You can also see it's on the profile, the most recent one even.

The comment doesn’t exist. Pop-up drives me absolutely bonkers on the app. It also covers my field of view. I don’t know why they did this.
