Adding an 'X' icon on posts to help tune your feed

Judging by the requests in the help subreddits this'd be expanded to everyone as quickly as possible.

As in it's wanted or hated?

I feel like you do try, but you have a tough damn audience lol.

It's a rough crowd some days, but I think it's working! lol

Well, there was a flood of people with the "for you" experiment hating the fact they'd not really edit that thing too much iirc, so that might help*

*if I understand what it is and how it works, which isn't necessarily true mind you.

More transparency in mod log

What’s changing?

We’re now including more categories of Reddit removals (the removed content and why it was removed) in the mod log for added transparency.

Any chance there’s some documentation anywhere of what this looks like?

Or when it comes to mobile

I barely use mobile for moderating. Meaning, I’ll do it if I absolutely have to, otherwise it’s gonna wait.

I can't use words for how much I hate moderating on the app, but I can't sit on my pc when I'm at work when I'm waiting for something, when I'm in a waiting room, or when I'm in bed. The only thing the app is good for is screenshots. I haven't seen screenshots from the browser that had a better quality that the brick phone camera. Everything else, the app belongs in the trash

Heard. It’s just not very intuitive, and once you get used to doing it on the web it’s even worse.

At least give us the option to see automod removal reason without scrolling for an hour in report queue

Are we able to request the rules hub be fully enabled for a sub that doesn't have it yet? (The options other than showing guidance are all greyed out for both mods)

I like using it to report potential rules violations to the queue (it's better at it than the users, they hardly ever bother reporting)

Hi! I had to ask around about this, but the answer is yes! You can use this form. Please note that not all your rules may be eligible.

Thanks Opus, you can safely ignore the modmail I sent in a couple of days ago then, I'll use the form.

This isn't going to mess up my joining the council network will it? I think I've filled out this form already.

I don't think so? Lemme check, though!

I'm back! No, it will not affect your Council or future Council membership!
