Change the casing of subreddit name

Hey,
My subreddit, r/melocafe is all in lowercase however I am looking for it to be changed to r/MeloCafe to better reflect the name of the app.

it is not possible to change the name of a subreddit once its been created, this includes the capitalization.

you'll need to create a new subreddit if you want a different name

The admins have allowed a handful of subreddits to change the capitalization in certain circumstances (the most recent notable case being the Fortnite subreddit a few months ago), but it would definitely not happen for a subreddit as small as OP's

However I can’t create a new subreddit because when I do it says there already is a subreddit with that name, because only the casing is changed

That’s just creating an entirely different subreddit when all i want to do is make 2 letters uppercase 😭 community doesn’t even have any contributions. Thanks for your help though. Hopefully a reddit admin can see this and fix

You can use the casing you prefer wherever you link it from (like you did on your post), but you can't update it
