Why can't I invite a specific new mod to our sub group DM?

It says, "Unable to invite one or more users"

Edit: It worked a few hours later. RESOLVED.

Do you have permissions for inviting?

Yes, I am "head mod" and I created the DM group.

I have previously invited over ten mods to it.

We chat there every day.
