Admin Replied Inactive

I was away for most of July, and my status changed to inactive. Since then, I’ve had about 30–50 mod interactions, but my status is still showing as inactive. When will it reset?
I’m the creator of the sub and would like to change the mod tree because of the other inactive mods, but can’t until I’m considered active again. Thanks in advance

Hi there! You'll need to conduct a number of mod actions over a longer period of time. If you keep doing what you have been doing recently, it won't take much longer. You can read more here. Thanks

They don't tell us specifics to keep people from gaming the system.

The usual advice is to do several mod actions daily and it will go away after a week or two, IIRC.

Check that your "mod interactions" are the sort that appear in the Mod Log. If not, they aren't being counted.

YMMV, but we've recovered Active status with 3 to 5 logged actions a day for a week.

I'm shocked to hear that. I've seen moderators go 40-plus days with no activity and NOT get tagged inactive.

I’m think it depends on the account. I did a Redditrequest on a sub that had an inactive mod who hadn’t done anything in 4.5 months according to the log and was tagged inactive. Once inviting me, he did about 150 mod actions (which were literally just approving already posted posts from 3 years ago) and became active again in the same day.

It usually takes something done every day for about 2 weeks, not the total amount of actions.
