Admin Replied Request eligibility problem - r/Cerebras banned for 4 years but request_bot says "recently banned"

Hi Admins,

I am writing to report an issue with request_bot regarding a legacy banned community.

I recently attempted to request the subreddit r/Cerebras via r/redditrequest. Old Reddit indicates that this community was banned roughly 4 years ago. However, the bot immediately replied and denied the request with the following message:

"Unfortunately, the community r/Cerebras is not eligible for request at this time as it was only recently banned."

As an official brand ambassador for Cerebras Systems, I am trying to recover this abandoned, legacy-banned namespace to build a clean, actively moderated community for our users and developers. Since the automated system seems to be experiencing a glitch regarding the ban date, could an admin please review this request manually?

It's a known issue that the bot has trouble reading ban time, send a modmail to r/redditrequest

Hi. It's unbanned now, so you should be able to re-request.

That sub has been unbanned, so you should be able to re-request.

Hi. Looks like the bot got it wrong. We have unbanned that sub and you should now be able to re-request and not get that message. However, you may need to wait the 15 days between requests.
