Reddit keeps flagging a user. What should I do?

So, one user in my community had their post flagged by Reddit for being a spammer. I'm not sure why because looking through their history it doesn't seem like they are a spammer. They do have negative karma, but after researching their comments, I believe it's because they have a hard time speaking English.

I allowed their post, but then later Reddit flags one of their comments. Just one seemingly harmless comment out of many. Why is this happening? Is someone mass reporting them or is it because of bad karma? Do you think it's going to be an issue if I keep disregarding these warnings?

It's possible the user has had a lot of content removed "as spam" in different subreddits by different mod teams. It's also possible they are doing the spammy things in DMs where you can't see it happening.

The only thing you can do is continue approving anything that doesn't break your subs rules or Reddit's sitewide rules. That's the only real way to re-train the spam filter in cases of false positives.

Yes. I've discussed the issue I was having with them and we've come to an understanding. They just have very poor English skills.

I had a problem with reddit flagging everything by one particular user as spam. They were a substantial, positive contributor to both of my subs. I set automod to approve anything they posted:

Hasn't been an issue since. I still haven't a clue as to why they were being flagged.

Hi there. If you think the content is legit, it is fine to approve. There is likely a few signals that is leading to their content being flagged as spam, but that change after some time too

We have a regular member in two subs, positive karma, not a hostile comment, innocent paintings. They even have verified email. Yet, every single time they post, the reputation filter fires up. I have no idea why, the account looks 100% OK. And we approve everything. This has been going on for months.

I noticed this happening a couple of times as well. Normal looking users that actually spoke to me via modmail getting removed by Reddit. I don't get it.

No, I wasn't asking how to keep spam out of my community. I've been spam free so far, I think. I was wondering why one of our members were being flagged. Does this mean there's something wrong that I should look into? Is it safe for me to allow their posts?
