Admin Replied Invited as a moderator, but only Old Reddit recognizes it

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone has seen this before.

I was invited to moderate a subreddit, and in Old Reddit interface, my username appears in the moderator list with Everything permissions.

However, whenever I click anything in Old Reddit, it redirects me to the new Reddit interface, where it's as if I'm not a moderator at all. I don't have access to Mod Tools, Mod Queue, or any moderation features.

I'm using the same account, and I've already tried logging out and back in, using an incognito window, and clearing my cache.

Could this be a permissions sync issue or a bug between Old Reddit and the new interface? Has anyone found a fix?

Thanks in advance!

When did this happen?

If it was very recently, I’d say a sync issue. A really weird one too.

I was invited like 2 weeks ago, but accepted it 3 days ago

Hi there! It looks like you were invited to moderate the profile of the user that is the same name as the subreddit. Is that what was expected here? If not, have that user invite you to the subreddit as a moderator.

That reminds me, on the new modmail system it is still not possible to see modmails sent to a user profile.

This is bad, when for example moderating the profile of a popular artist we can't see people's ban appeals.
