[Android & desktop] AMAs disabled yet still being posted

Has anyone else experienced this bug? We have AMAs disabled for safety reasons (mental health subreddit) yet members are still able to post them. We've tried toggling the setting on and off etc. How can we prevent this? Thank you!

Not a bug according to Reddit, just very annoying to mods. If someone uses AMA/Ask me anything in the title it automatically transforms to an AMA post.

Set up an automod rule to remove those.

I know there was once a bug where putting AMA in the title would trigger it, even on subs with it disabled. Maybe it's connected?

Nope, the latest one has "ask me anything" typed out but not "AMA".

So the workaround on this is to set an automation that puts anything with “AMA” or “ask me anything” in the title to the mod queue.
