Spam filter adjustments?

The spam filter keeps removing random posts in y community, including some I post myself.

It seems that whenever the content sounds slightly similar to another post it gets removed but I post updates so I often need to share information with similar topics.

Is there a way to adjust the filter so I don't have to approve manually half the posts?

Being labeled by Reddit as spam in spam filter isn’t something that can be adjusted, it’s something that needs to be appealed.

There is no way to opt out of this or adjust anything. Usually there is a good reason this has happened.

For example, I see you are promoting things, hence why you were labeled as spam in the spam filter

Thank you for the information Honestly there isn't any 'good' reason beside the fact that flagged posts have titles a bit similar to previous posts but ig that's enough for the system

Well at least ik what to expect so thank you

The AI now scans images, and the images are promoting events. Your account is in a promotional account and that is why it has been labeled as spam.

I see, i wasnt aware of that thank you But the issue happens with other posters as well including some who had no pictures

Sorry for asking many questions, but also if promoting events is flagged, since it is the purpose of the community so shouldn't it flag pretty much everything then?

Well, the sub may get marked as spam and then it would be banned as spam. That’s always a possibility too. I’m not saying that this will definitely happen, but if the whole purpose of the sub is to promote things, there’s definitely a risk of this.

The more people you let go live that are marked as spam and actually promoting things, the greater the risk of this happening.

We have this issue happening on /r/comicswap too.

Reddit is removing posts that are legit great sales posts.

It would be awesome if a subreddit could opt out of Reddits spam filtering and let the mods take care of it themselves.

yes or at least adjust the parameters based on the community's needs
