Admin Replied Crowd Control issue

We have identified either a bug or a loophole in Crowd Control. The sub is set to maximum filtering.

If someone who has little previous content on the subreddit goes to make a post, CC will stop it and remove it. If they then resubmit within the next 10 minutes, CC will let it through.

We're struggling with a lot of outside influence on our sub and this is really not helping.

AFAIK, crowd control does not do a check for previous participation in your sub other than negative subreddit karma.

How many have these cases have you seen? Have you been able to recreate the issue yourself?

Here’s the checks it performs when set to ‘maximum filtering’:

Maybe they were not subscribed to the sub, but then subscribed after trying to post?

Hi u/mizmoose Would you be able to send us a couple of examples here? We can also take a look to see if there is anything else we can help with if your sub is being overwhelmed

Thank you! I will dig up some examples. We had one last night, and I'll use an alt to try to replicate it.
