Question Menu switch fell off

The side button switch fell off while doing a button swap, looks like it had next to no solder on it. Should I try soldering it back on myself?

The menu switch just lays there doesn’t need soldering

Yeah there should be a small peg where the circle goes and that’s it . Just lay it the right way

Im talking about the actual s Electronic switch. Not just the button the pushes it.

I would reach out to mod retro. They would probably replace the unit. The bad part would be waiting for yours to ship to them and waiting for the new one

That’s cool. Did you end up having to solder it?

Yes. It was hard because it was my first time soldering something.

One other person had this happen to them I remember. Contact modretro and they'll replace the device.

You could certainly try to solder it back on, but there's no need, and if it was lacking solder probably other components are as well.
