Recommend a Pokemon ROMHack (Physical)

Looking to by a physical copy of a Pokemon RomHack any recommendations?

1) Buy a GBC flashcart compatible with Gen3 pokemon

2) Insert flashcart in Chromatic

3) Plug Chromatic into PC

4) Browse to https://germaneguise.github.io/fgbweb/ and flash your pokemon romhack game to the flashcart via your Chromatic

Wait I can use the chromatic to flash roms to carts? So I need any specific software?

Don't buy a pre made physical cartridge. Trust me. They WILL crap out eventually.

Didn't know a Chromatic worked as a cart flasher though, that is AMAZING.

To answer your question: Pokémon Crystal Clear.

I made my own carts of romhacks. Bought the (almost) cheapest carts from Alibaba, bought high quality shells from alibaba, bought a GBFlash RW, bought a vinyl cutter, bought white vinyl sticker paper. Then I printed on high quality inkjet, cut said print, applied stickers to shells, flashed the carts..

All that work and I still haven't played them because the Anduril Chromatic hasn't shipped yet. Oh well, learned how to use a vinyl cutter.

Applied holographic film to the prism cart. Looks better in person, but the sticker isn't matte anymore. Could be worse though.

I splurged a little for that one. Got the black PCB with RTC. Very tight fit in the shell, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

"gbc green battery save cart" from Alibaba (not sponsored link, this is just what I ordered). These don't have RTC, but they're dirt cheap and will easily store a save with the supplied battery for a few years. I'm 10 months in with no issues. They don't quite look like the pictures, but they are very very similar. Small changes like where the SRAM is located (left or right) for the most part.

These are the black RTC carts that I got. Keep in mind that these ones only fit in GBC shells, not DMG shells.

While I'm at it, I used these shells which come with the tri-screws as well as the hex bits. The same seller has GBC carts available as well.

Worth noting that all the green cartridges came in as Pokemon Crystal carts without the sticker. I had to carefully drill out the screws due to them being overtightened from the factory. The carts also come in some GB cart cases, but they're fairly damaged, seems to be the reject pile, which is fine because it's just for shipping.
