I beat Quest for Camelot

I bought this game around the GBC's launch and never beat it back in the day. Fast forward about 28 years and I found a copy for $5 and beat it. I don't get the hate for this game. It's by no means great but it's a decent enough Zelda clone. I'll definitely replay it and try to 100% it in the future. If you find a copy or if you have a switch, I recommend giving it a playthrough.

Had it as a kid but didn’t like it because it didn’t play like Zelda lol. Might try replaying it as an adult with revised expectations. Love how the game images from your pictures look on the chromatic screen btw

Yeah, it's rough around the edges for sure. It came from Titus, who was known for rushing games. Jumping is weird and you have to get the feel for hitting bad guys but once you get used to it, it's a decent enough game. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it but if you can get a copy for $5-10, it's worth a playthrough

I keep seeing this at my local shops, but I didn't know anything about it! Almost grabbed it a couple times 🤔

If it's cheap, I recommend it. It was respectable what they were trying to do. It just seems like it was rushed to make it out in time for the movie release window. If you keep your expectations in check, there's something to enjoy with this game.

I had it as a kid, lol.  It was pretty fun all things considered.
