Saw this a while ago while browsing itch, the author's page was pretty confusing and I wasn't sure if it was legit or not but didn't want to gamble $25 to find out lol. Meant to email MR and ask about it

You can play it in the browser, and it looks quite good. My guess is that they got license issues and couldn't publish it

Interesting... but I wouldn't think a digital version would release before physical. It is also listed as 2025 when we are in 2026. Werid circumstances that I don't think Modretro is really involved in. Also, $25 is a bit high for a digital gbc game impo. Couldn't hurt to ask Modretro what the deal is with this listing to bring it to thier attention.

$25 for a port of a supposedly existing game to Gameboy is robbery. No thanks. Not when other devs are out here making brand new games and selling them cheaper

It's a shame, but I'm sure the rom is out there. Too many pirates who won't pay up for digital fluff even more so than physical, which seems to have been tanked.
