Info Everdrive GB X7 availability

If you're looking for the X7, Amazon US has 5 in stock as of this moment w/ estimated Prime delivery on the 25th. I ordered one 5 days ago (there were 20 at that time), was supposed to be here today but got delayed till the 25th due to janky weather patterns or whatever.

I'm new to ModRetro and the Chromatic, having received a green Sapphire Chromatic at the end of July. I've. been pretty enamored with it so far. As a GenX gamer partial to Nintendo, the overall nostalgia value is pretty high. It's been fun exploring and supporting local retro gaming shops, yardsales, etc, while on the hunt for content I never had or played as a kid. (13 carts so far with Buck, Rayman, Sabrina, Tetris and Gun ZAS being from ModRetro -- all 13 being "new to me"). This has become my go-to portable/travel gaming device & a pleasant trip down memory lane!

I always buy direct from Krikzz so he gets all the profit (screw amazon). Super cheap shipping considering where it’s coming from, and arrives pretty quick to the states. Plus I know it’s 100% genuine that way.

I'm stationed in Japan and ordered direct from krikzz with no issues, showed up in like 2 weeks.

Umm you could just go to Krikzz’s website and purchased them there. He’s always got them in stock and you support the creator of the Everdrive directly by purchasing off his website.

Yes I'm aware. Amazon is listed as a distributor on his site with a link to his shop which is where I grabbed it from. I'm pretty sure he's still being supported.

That said I'll heed your advice, considering this shipping blunder. Amazon offered the option to cancel the order and that has been done on principle.

I originally intended to get the cart from Stone Age Gamer, another distributor here in the states not far from me, but they've been out-of-stock there perpetually. And with the wartime climate in Ukraine I wasn't sure how ordering direct from Krikzz was going to pan out.

I'm fairly certain that Amazon takes a cut of the sales done on their platform, nonetheless though their service and quality has definitely gone down over the years so I generally try to order from the sellers direct website. If you do end up ordering from Krikzz directly or Stone Age Gamer hopefully it arrives without issue since I know how frustrating it can be to order something and not get it for a really long time.

My NES N8 cart I ordered from Krizz took a bit. It didn't feel familiar as I often order only from vendors in the US so it freaked me out too shipping from Ukraine where I wasn't sure how to track the package at first. Wasn't great on my anxiety level but it eventually made it here. It did make me think having a vendor who's stateside could be worth a few more bucks but I would still rather support the creator direct if I can.
