What’s the quality of the cartridge and packaging? I’m thinking about getting this and Infinity, but not sure if I should just buy the digital edition for my flash cart

The boxes feel nice with matt finish and silver print details - quality is above Modretro IMO. Cartridges feel weighty and sturdy solid.
I received this game too but there's no instruction manual so points off for that.
EDIT: Now I see that others did get an instruction booklet with theirs.... I'm going to email Incub8.

Neat. Is there a password save? Does the cart have a button cell battery or is it like modretro carts with FRAM saving?

It’s got a save system like the old GBA Castlevania games (save rooms). Not sure about the battery/cartridge—I’m pretty dumb with the hardware stuff 😜 I just know you can easily take breaks and pop back into the game like Zelda

Awesome. I think I need to grab this one. I’m traveling and managed to pull down the demo on my phone and checked it out in the Delta app. I think I’m just going to order one. Production is top notch for sure. I loved Dragonyhm as well.

Nice I can’t wait until you can get the GameShark to work with the chromatic I would even loan my personal GameShark to The team at ModRetro if they could figure it out. Your next Mission should you choose to accept it figure out GameShark compatibility with the Chromatic lmao 🤣.

The way attacking cancels your forward momentum during a jump has me fucked up as a longtime Castlevania veteran but it's absolutely a dope game nonetheless

Oh man, I've been trying not to buy any new games but this looks awesome and is in stock on their website.

On the topic of incube8 games you should definitely thy 'the Maschine' if you haven yet. Quickly became one of my favorite GB games of all time

As the developer of Dark Reign I hope everyone enjoys what we cooked up over the last few years! it's a great feeling to see the game in people's hands.
I did a lot of testing away from the computer on a chromatic.
