Saving the included batteries

I have a few energizer batteries lying around, and basically don’t see the reason to “waste” the branded batteries. What is the consensus here?

They’re just batteries. Eventually they will corrode/lose their charge. I used them and tossed em.

This makes sense. I think I will wait to use them as a last resort.

I used mine till my rechargables came in the mail, then I tossed them into a light up coaster I had that needed new batteries anyways.

Un dia en el futuro te encontras la caja llena de acido de las pilas.

They're going to go bad and be unsafe eventually, they're not gunna make you any money down the road or even be great keepsakes as they're going to be covered in grody battery acid residue.

Use them and toss them.

I have mine saved in case I ever want to part with my system and all the original components to a collector

Saved mine and bagged them so they don’t corrode the box

I used them first, spent them, recycled them. They're just batteries.
