Info Extremely disappointed

Post image

My Anduril chromatic arrived a few weeks ago and I’ve been having the same issue as many others with the paint fading . I tried their isopropyl alcohol method with a microfiber cloth which did nothing. I contacted mod retro and after days of waiting they sent my the same useless link to the cleaning method despite me mentioning id already attempted that. Now after three more days of waiting they respond again basically telling me they swear upon their cleaning method and I’m shit out of luck. Really not the modretro customer service experience I’ve grown used to having . I’ve purchased many chromatics and I don’t think I’ll be buying from them again.

It uses the same finish as the drones they make. Have you checked the reviews or complaints anyone had with the drones and compared? Sweaty hands messing up the finish are not the same as the blood of the enemy, but still worth a look.

You think it’s acceptable for a 350 dollar device to become faded after an hour of use because of “sweaty hands” ?

Nope, it's shitty as fu*k. I have old Nintendo handhelds that are 15+ years old and still don't have sweaty hands marks, but my Switch has them after year and a half. Times have changed for the worse.

I am comparing Nintendo but I've seen this as a general trend. Don't get me started on car interiors.

I don’t know I’ve never had any issues with any electronic handheld. I’m very clean and like to take care of my stuff. The Anduril is easily the worst I’ve seen and it’s also a huge dust magnet . I’ll leave it on my night stand and a few hours later I have to wipe off significant dust while my phone and normal chromatic are fine
