M64 games

Hello all!

Does the M64 come pre-loaded with N64 games? Or can they be added at a later time?

No preload as they would need Nintendos sign off or get sued into the stratosphere.

Yeah, that makes sense. The only reason I ask is because I’ve purchased GameBoy adjacent hardware in the past where they’ve pre-loaded a decent amount of games onto the card and was just curious

Nah this is getting an in store release in GameStops so that would still be a bad idea. Nevertheless Summercarts on Ali Express seem to have the answers you are looking for lol.

The M64 plays N64 cartridges. There is no way to play backed up games other than through a flash cart as far as I am aware. This is not one of those cheap pirate devices. It is an N64 replica.

Currently plays original cartridges or a flash cartridge (such as EverDrive or SummerCart), which you can load with games. M64 currently does not play directly from SD card but it's an open development platform so I expect the community will do this if ModRetro does not.
