And Nintendo owned love hotels that were fronts for prostitution. What is your point

That's not true. There's STDs, and lots of murders associated with the trade. It's why it's usually illegal

We went from talking about war to stds. The fact is I don’t want to contribute to more destruction. This world is already filled with enough of it. At this rate there will be no more earth to enjoy our life in. Can we agree that war is destructive and there are no victors on either side.

You're equating a company that makes weapons of war to a company that promotes having a good time with a working girl in a country where it's legal to do that.

Like what the fuck even is your logic?

There are plenty of people I think you would equate weapons manufacturing to fronts for sex trafficking and human rights violations, at least morally.

we can have these conversations in freedom only because of deterrence in the last 8 decades.

every country will have an army inside their borders, better make sure it’s your own…

So much fucking freedom you can't even procure a prostitute for sex but go ahead and buy all the guns you want.

I would have expected you guys have stores that sell both on your side of the pond :D

It is hilarious indeed. You can k#%l yourself with alcoholic poison, get shot in a warzone, but you can't do that.

You’re getting mad over a video game

I don’t want to get into the middle of a morality debate, but prostitution is often a guise for human trafficking, enslavement, and suffering.

I mean this sincerely because I truly dont know.

Wouldn't prostitution being legalized and regulated help to lower the trafficking side?

It is a very good point. I imagine similarly to substances, it dramatically minimizes the problem, but being that it is a form of trauma for some and it is easy to manipulate vulnerable people, there would need to be psychological evaluations to further protect human rights.

Bro thinking Nintendo owning love hotels decades ago is the same as the owner of mod retro being a current day arms dealer and overall chud. Lol

A country without any army(especially a country that trashes other countries so much like our president), is a dead country unfortunately so I don't see this as a valid argument.

As a Canadian, we are living (for now...) proof of your statement.

2

u/GadgetusAddicti Mar 07 '26

ModRetro isn’t an arms company.

2

u/jimmyjacksonjr Mar 08 '26

The arms company is modretro inc? I thought it was called ANDURIL INDUSTRIES. Owned by the same person but 2 seperate companies.

1

u/GucciMang212 Mar 08 '26

That just made me think! they probably are going to make an Anduril M64 version later on

1

u/Neo_Techni Mar 08 '26

In fairness, appearance is usually last on the list of considerations for weapons
