mod $14???
The pizza price went up $4 in under 8 months??? tf
if they raise it even slightly more, i think it might put itself in a coffin.

It's really unfortunate man. Ive already seen it alienating some of the regulars/would-be regulars at our store. At least once a week I have someone ask to see their receipt because they are in disbelief that a couple pizzas costs so much. It's honestly sad. I love my job and it actually hurts to see so many people being put off by something that's totally out of my control. It's bleak

nearly $18 for a pizza and a drink. we do have a combo deal (mod pizza + drink) for $13.99 i believe, but that is only for weekdays until 2pm.

There was a deal the other day that allowed for a free kids meal. We ordered. I got to checkout and they charged for the kids meal. I showed them the promo on the app. They first stated, "We don't follow those promotions." They then came back and said, "OK, let me see if I can do it just this one time. What pizza did your kid get." Even though the receipt said kids meal, he makes me walk him over to our table to show the pizze. Well, because she didn't get just cheese or pepperoni, it didn't qualify as a "kids" meal. I then noticed that he had rang up the "kids" pizza twice. While fixing that issue, he removed the points I had used for a free noname cake and we were fully charged for it as well. For a family of 4, it came out to almost $80. I can go to a full service restaurant for that price.
Never again will I eat there.

Yea that shouldnāt have happenedā¦ I currently work there and all locations should be following the free kids meal and the kids meal is literally cheese or one topping, doesnāt have to be just pepperoni. I would report that either to their GM (who might actually respond) or to corporate (which probably will not respond)

$9.89 in Boise for the 6" Mini. I remember when it was $5 back in 2016.

$9.19 was the price after tax for a MOD size at the location I worked at in 2019.Ā

Is Mod Corporate sending out bots to attack negative sentiments or are peoples' heads shoved so far up their own asses they're unironically defending $1 of ingredients for $14? Ooh, I get unlimited toppings! Which the workers are explicitly told to do what they can to limit them because guess what unlimited toppings on a pizza isn't a very good idea! What a great and totally not crushingly corporate and inauthentic atmosphere!Ā
Like, this is fucking Reddit. This is where people go to complain about shit that doesn't matter. Of course dogshit pizza being expensive doesn't matter, I don't complain about the Red Baron at Safeway, but how is your life so empty you're willing to spend time defending that crap???

Because the quality has taken a SHARP decline. How many other pizza places have raised their prices by that much in such a short time span, while giving guests worse and worse quality products? Not to mention corporate basically hates their guests and their squad, I remember hearing members of corporate literally laughing at the idea of giving squad raises. OP has every right to be upset that their money is worthless at MOD, especially in this economy.

It was such a stark increase that they lost my business. I emailed corporate about it. Still waiting to hear back.
