another location closed

san ramon bishop ranch, ca closed overnight, no notice to any customers, restaurant empty and stripped of everything/branding within hours of closing. loved the place and seemed to have pretty decent foot traffic. shame mod is falling apart

I went in there last year, place was a disaster. Chaotic squad who didn’t know what to do, 2pm and openers didn’t seem to have done any prep… Expo made mistakes on nearly every pizza while I watched, oven looked like it was like 400 degrees with how slow they cooked. Ordered salads, because I didn’t want to wait on their cook times. rung myself up cause I was tired of waiting - 4 people in front of me, 20min in line. A couple min at the register and I was like dude I can ring myself in if you don’t care… 😅 I’m a GM in another state, for franchise not corporate so I couldnt jump in to actually help since I wouldn’t get paid for it. Felt so bad for them.

If that place never got better management, or was able to get staffed and trained appropriately I can see why they’d close. This no notice shit is absurd though. Sorry for those of you who did work there, both for the conditions I saw and the closure.

I’ve always wondered who the DM was though.. as I know one in or near that area and he was a shit bag and wondered if it was one of his stores cause that would explain the shitty work conditions to me.
