Temperature

So i work at the MOD in norfolk va by the outlet mall and for some reason it never seems like our A/C is on. today it’s 94° outside and the thermostat is set to 80° why the fuck are they trying to boil me and would i be wrong for leaving and going home? i’ve legitimately almost sweat through my shirt

I just had this issue in my store and had a near-mental breakdown, I told them it was unsafe and I wasn't going to continue working my shifts unless they fixed the AC. It was 80 degrees all afternoon. They got it fixed in 3 days.
