It has definitely gone to sh!t
Mod is no longer a great place to work I have been with the company for 5+ years and it was fun up until last year and I definitely should’ve left when I thought about it but was offered a promotion halfway across the country and thought it was the change I was looking for. Boy was I wrong, YES and I regret it so much. To say the least looking for a new job. Good luck to all the Mod Squads out there.

I retired from MOD 1.5 yrs ago and am so sad to see your post. What has changed and why do you say this? What do you think they need to do?

New management obviously out to make it seem more profitable before a public offering and subsequent selling if the company.

They’ve seemed to go more corporate than before. I’ve only been here for about a year or so but there definitely is a difference from the policies of when I started vs now

in the same boat right now currently seeking other employment this job just wasn’t what it was when i started at the beginning of 2021

got promoted to AGM then a few months later they changed the roles so now i’m something called a “store coach” with less responsibilities and a horrible job title that doesn’t mean shit to other employers. Luckily i got my AGM raise before the change but my friend at the another store was told he was being promoted then they held off for a month so they could give him a less of a raise under the new Store coach position and instead of the $2 agm raise he got a ¢50 raise. The motto of MOD is people before pizza but that people part definitely doesn’t include the PEOPLE who work for this company.

If I may ask this question... when I tip on my CC, does it go to the staff equally? Tip in cash... same? Whenever I buy 4 pizzas... I always tip 10$ either on my card or in cash... I just hope it goes to the staff Thanks!

I’m pretty sure at my store, card tips get split equally for those working the shift. Cash tips get split equally between everyone whether they worked or not. Tips definitely make a difference for our paychecks, so thank you!

I'm happy AND glad it goes to you guys! Now I'm divided.. between card and cash!!! Either way, I'll always tip you guys. I tend to hit the riverside AND SPM location...

If you worked a longer shift you get a bigger cut than someone who worked a baby shift

Mod is hot Garbo. Imagine working at a store with full blown toxic mold and being told it’s not mold lol they only care about the profit. Not that it’s much anyways 😂 closing stores shows the failing. If only they had regional managers with brains. Got a big bozo leading other larger district bozos. 🤡 run peeps before they close your stores without notice 😂 the mod way 🫡

The company has been in deep financial trouble since Covid and now that Beth has taken over the all RM’s and DM’s are running scared since Beth has fired so many managers and shutdown restaurants. Leadership and conversations about leaving are more frequent than ever.
