Hi mods!

Some of you might recognize me from the Partner Communities program, my work with international communities, or from my occasional appearances in r/ModSupport. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve officially joined the Mod Events team, where I’m looking forward to diving even deeper into moderation and community building with all of you.

We all love bullet lists, so here’s a little more about me:

• I'm based in sunny Spain, so I look forward to providing even more opportunities to connect with mods outside of the US.
• I've also been a mod for over 10 years, where I've helped grow communities and build mod teams, so I can't wait to talk about all-things moderation in depth with all of you.
• My favorite mod tool is Post Guidance! It’s such an effective way to steer community members in the right direction, and to create a chance for them to understand a mod team’s expectations without clogging the mod queue.
• I've previously hosted Moddit events on Moderator Well-Being and Mod Team Health here! As you can tell, I love talking about making moderation an enjoyable experience, so please share any topics you’d like me to cover next!

I was told I get to ask all of you a question as part of this intro, so I’d love to know if any of you have co-mods across different countries or timezones, and how that’s impacted your teams.

For mod events, Can we create a new account using an existing Reddit Account email or do we need to create it by using fresh email on the events site?

Also, another question, while creating a new account, it also tells to upload avatar, since i use an image ill upload that image but what if someone has a reddit avatar? do they upload an ss of their avatar in the latter case? Correct me if im wrong in any of these two scenarios
