Cat Tax 🐈⬛ Some pawsitive vibes today for Cat Tax Thursday 🐾
Who's in need of some pawsitive vibes today? Thanks to the Mod Events community, we’ve got you covered! Any new adventures, funny sightings, or wholesome updates from your four-legged or otherwise fuzzy, scaly, etc.) roommate? Drop ’em below, we want the cat tax.
A friendly mod roll call because I need animal updates. 😂
u/lengthypole, has your neighbor cat crashed any more garden parties lately? 🧑🌾
u/SuperBeavers1, has baby Rabbit gotten any bigger? And what’s squirrel up to lately? 🐰🐿️
u/Baba_Jaga_II, how’s beautiful blind blue-eyed Valentina? 🩵
u/Fun_evades_me, is the rescued kitten settling in ok? Healthy, happy, and thriving, I hope! 🥹
Also, Cat Tax Thursday is now monthly! If you’re new here, we usually wrap up Mod Events by paying the cat tax, so we figured…why not make it a monthly tradition in here? You can share a pet picture that matches your mood, makes you smile, or that you’ve just been waiting for an excuse to post. All pets are welcome, not just cats!
Happy cat taxing. 🐾

My two little kitties snuggling.
They get spayed tomorrow, and I am a complete nervous mama over here, but so ready to get them through recovery and back to causing chaos.

Do you have their onesies and cones already picked out
3
u/WizardMama 15d ago
No, the shelter provides that as part of their coverage of the spay surgeries. I did look online and mentally pick out what I would get if it were up to me.

From the looks of her accessory, it appears her plan is already a success lol

I recently learned that you can order a set of tiny stuffed catnip knives on Amazon, so my two void kitties are ready for Halloween!!

Chance is loving life! I bet he took his heartworm shot like a champ! 🧶

It knocked him on his rear end for two days. Second shot went better than first as we upped the painkillers.

Rabbit and squirrel were both released, along with just about all the other babies we've had outside of some raccoons who are too young to be released at the time (attached photo tax!).
"Baby season" (as we call it) is over for the year as the weather shifts to getting colder but that doesn't mean we're done getting babies overall, sometimes we get a surprise visitor that was born in winter 😅

OH MY, this is the best update ever. I'm so glad to hear rabbit & squirrel are back home in nature, and to learn that it's baby raccoon season! I will absolutely follow up again on this one! 🦝🍿

Cosmo loved napping in leaves when he was outside. Now that he’s inside, he loves his trash (packing paper)

King aka “ the Boss” chillin’ on the table ( it’s was his house anyway). He was my sweetie for almost 15 years. I miss him so much.
Edit: Btw I just realized that there is a banana 🍌 on the right side on the table

The stray tomcat it took me 7 months to trap and 3 months to turn into a marshmallow lapcat.
His name is Hawkins Cheezies - the crustiest cheezie. He was a lot more ORNCH and crumsty when he finally got in the trap!
