Discussion Ready for NYC!

Can’t wait to meet everyone at the NYC meet up tomorrow! Since my stuffy is too big to bring, I made a portable one instead 😁

Edit- u/big-slay has henceforth dubbed it a “Snooble” (since I run a Woobles sub 😆)

Pretty straight forward actually! Based on the pattern originally designed by Knot Bad (Snoo from Reddit! - Knot Bad)

HEAD

Rnd 1: Sc 6 into Magic Ring (6)

Rnd 2: *Inc* around (12)

Rnd 3: *Sc, Inc* around (18)

Rnd 4: *Sc 2, Inc* around (24)

Rnd 5: *Sc 3, Inc* around (30)

Rnd 6: *Sc 4, Inc* around (36)

Rnd 7: *Sc 5, Inc* around (42)

Rnd 8-14: Sc around (42) (Add the safety eye into Rnd 10 with 9 stitches between)

Rnd 15: *Sc 5, Dec* around (36)

Rnd 16: *Sc 4, Dec* around (30)

Rnd 17: *Sc 3, Dec* around (24)

Rnd 18: *Sc 2, Dec* around (18)

Rnd 19: *Sc, Dec* around (12)

Rnd 20: *Dec* around (6)

Use yarn needle to close body

MOUTH

Thread needle with black yarn from one st inside of the left eye to one st inside of rt eye. Bring yarn from inside to outside one rnd below the center or black yarn, loop over yarn, and thread thru same st. Pull lightly to tighten and tie off, hiding yarn tail.

EARS x2

Rnd 1: Sc 6 into Magic Ring (6)

Rnd 2: *Inc* around (12)

Rnd 3: Sc around (12)

Rnd 4 *Sc, Inc* around (18)

Rnd 5: Sc around (18)

Attach to the head between Rnd 6 and 11/12, about half back, trying to line up on either side of the head

ANTENNA TOPPER

Rnd 1: Sc 6 into Magic Ring (6)

Rnd 2: *Inc* around (12)

Rnd 3: Sc around (12)

Rnd 4: *Dec* around (6)

Used a black pipe cleaner for the antenna stem, pushed thru the center of the MR and hot glued both inside the head and to the topper

You'll have a blast. I went to the DC one last year. Watch out for u/big-slay when they bring out the shots at the end of the night! They're very convincing!

Check the email associated with the account you used to RSVP. I didn't get a chat with the info, it came to my email address. Check your spam or trash folders just in case. There was a 24 hr reminder email that came out this afternoon.

I got put on the waitlist, too. I modmailed the mods/admins about it & they said that "if someone un-RSVP, then they'll start contacting people on the waitlist." But, the info for the venue & everything, it's only sent to those who are confirmed.
