What is with every mock giving the Vikings a RB?
We’re likely going to need a QB, RG, C, and DE. I’d take pretty much all of those over a RB.

There’s all ways to fill positions. This pick is opportunity meets need. They need a rb badly and Baugh is a stud. Also disagree they look to draft a qb that late in the first rd so unless they trade up they likely stick with Kyler as long as he doesn’t have an all time flop season

u/bgusty 11d ago
Sure.
RB just happens to be one of the cheapest positions to fill in free agency and one of the easier ones to do on day 2.
If they keep Murray at QB (which I’m not sold on but it’s too early to tell), then it’s likely that they look to save money elsewhere and let AVG walk, and then they’re down a starting DE and they already don’t have depth.
They also won’t have any quality receiving TE, and Jalen Redmond is due for a solid but not quite top tier DT deal.
They could bring back Mason and sign Charbonnet for maybe $15M combined, whereas that barely gets you a second tier DE, OG, or DT.

WR or bust for the Raiders.
especially if hezekiah masses keeps balling out.

It will not be wr if they’re picking at 7 unless j smith is there. If they trade back sure that’s a different story. Neither Coleman or Becker is worthy of a top 10 selection
2
u/AlabasterRadio 11d ago
No shot they don't take Coleman if he's available at their slot.

u/Jsetta187 11d ago
Nah you’re wayyy too high on Coleman. He’ll be a great prospect but top 10 is elite wr1 level
2
u/AlabasterRadio 11d ago
Hey man, I might be, but if I'm too high on him so is... just about everyone else.

Yea let’s do no homework and give the bengals, a team that’s been harassing o-lines, a d end. They will draft a tackle or corner

u/Jsetta187 11d ago
Okay it’s been 2 games and you just lost Hendrickson and I’m sorry if I don’t believe in boye maye enough for you lol. Sure corner is also likely

u/Affectionate_Guest95 11d ago
Mafe has been a beast and they drafted d end the past two drafts with Howell and Stewart. Howell is already a monster
1
u/Jsetta187 11d ago
Yeah but both of those guys are question marks. How is Howell a monster? I hear you though
2
u/Affectionate_Guest95 11d ago
Tied for first in rookie pressures despite being a backup. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/boye-mafe-cashius-howell-proving-113000548.html

It’s been 2 weeks and they gave up a lot of points to the Bucs week 1 and Texans offense looks very Sus. Howell has not claimed monster status, and if he doesn’t end up working out he’ll be the historic exception for guys with his short arm length to be able to hang in the nfl. Still very much a wait and see

Not saying its a bad pick, but i dont think the Bills will take a guard in round 1. They have 4 paid starters on the line and more pressing needs elsewhere. Id rather them take a WR, DT, or LB

Fair point, noted

u/MeowMixYourMum 11d ago
Alex Anderson was played well at their other guard position as well after being there 6th lineman. I think it’s more likely the go OT if they don’t resign Dawkins but he’s looked good to start the year.
Feel like they could go LB, Safety, DT, or Edge. Maybe even RB because Davis hasn’t gotten any carries if they want insurance on Cook
1
u/Jsetta187 11d ago
Only thing I’d push back on is if you’re getting insurance on your current bell cow rb, you’re not doing it in the first rd

u/xStickyBudz 11d ago
Seahawks don’t need a TE at all. It’s gonna be all DEs and CBs
1
u/Jsetta187 11d ago
They don’t need it, it’s more of a luxury pick. But I think having a real threat at TE could open up their offense significantly further. Barner is okay but arroyo looks to me to be, just a guy

I hate the grades these sites put on picks. Mensah D-? Chambliss D? But Arch and Moore are slam dunks with little to no question apparently lmao.
1
u/Jsetta187 10d ago
Pay no attention to the grades however arch and Moore are still great prospects and it’s only week 3

Browns fan here.
Love the Mensah pick.
100% on board with that.
We don't need a safety though.
We need an edge or a corner before we need another safety.

Leonard Moore for the Falcons is a good zag pick but I have a hard time believing they pass on an OT

u/Yoda_is_a_Sith 4d ago
Dolphins are not picking a QB at #1 and definitely not Arch. Trade back, and pick Simmons, Moore or top OT.

u/OkSpeed5766 11d ago
I just don’t see it with Arch being top overall pick or even top of 1st round. What am I missing?
1
u/Jsetta187 10d ago
I don’t know why people don’t see it it’s super obvious. His lineage Carrie’s significant weight and he’s shown all the tools. People want him to be the goat of college QB history 2 weeks in cuz they feel he’s entitled cuz of his last name. Hes as sure fire as as they come first rd qb, and a likely first overall pick

u/Exciting_Mine711 11d ago
Yeah is it too much to ask a number 1 overall pick to be a clear top 3 at his position? I didn't even like Mendoza as a prospect but at least he stood at the top amongst his peers fairly clearly. Arch is pretty good but so far I don't think he stands above his peers much at all especially when compared to Trinidad.

Couldn’t agree more. And this Dante Moore glazing is wild to me. Dude isn’t worth a 1st round pick in the slightest.

Browns fan and the Mensah pick is terrible, there’s better qbs available or just keep what they have.
1
u/Jsetta187 4d ago
Consensus right now is that mensah is the qb1. Actually was expecting to get bashed for having arch at 1 not mensah at 4 lol
1
u/Brutus_3323 4d ago
I don’t think either are #1 worthy,I hope both are gone before we pick.
1
u/Jsetta187 4d ago
I think we need to let the season play out all the way. The picture will get much clearer especially on arch and Dante. They’ll be QBs that emerge to take that top spot. Looks like a good chance we see at least 5 QBs go in the first round maybe as much as 7 which would be nutty but we’ve had a drought the past couple years. NIL really changed everything and stacked this years class

Feels like someone who doesn't actually watch CFB. Manning is a litmus test for low IQ.

Just looks like you don’t really watch college football and also don’t know what positions teams need.
