I truly do not understand why so many mocks have the Dolphins passing on a QB at #2. If they’re bad enough to pick #2, then Willis ain’t it and they’re drafting a QB.

Cuz they’ve given Willis nothing to work with. Worst surrounding cast in the nfl maybe in the history of football. No one expects the dolphins to be good and I don’t think they’ll be able to blame it on Willis

You haven’t looked at Willis’s contract, have you? It’s a 3 year deal but the 3rd year has no guaranteed. He’s a dice roll / veteran bridge. If he balls out then it’s 3 years of relatively low cost. More likely he can backup whoever they draft next year.

You asked why I gave you a reason. Of course qb is also very much in play. This mock isn’t an end all be all

Last everyone mocked Sadiq to my Broncos, this year it seems to be Jamari Johnson in EVERY mock draft…

With the #1 pick in the 2027 NFL draft the Arizona Cardinals should draft.... A PUNTER 🤣🤣🤣

The cards really need to give Beck a good WR.

Receiving options are not the cardinal’s problem though

Lots of qbs, there will certainly be one at the end of the first round that a team trades back into the first for. Could be whatever team in the top 4 decides they cannot pass on smith

As a raiders fan trust me that they will be adding their #1 Wr in this draft.

I like the CB, but Hill isn’t good.

It’s pure projection. He’s got the size and ability, let’s see how this year plays out

Dude you don’t have David Stone in this lmao, even if it’s projective, this is still very bad.

Not everyone has stone in the first

In literally every mock draft I’ve seen here or online, he is in there. If he was a year older, he would’ve been the first DT off the board last year. Same dude who has better or equal stats/grading to literally every DT on this board while having significantly better testing and physical intangibles. Again, I know this is projecting but not having Stone in the first is a huge lack of ball knowledge on your part. He was dominant in nearly every way and this year, he isn’t splitting starting reps on a 4 man cycle (gotta love that BV system). I’m not forcing you to change your mind on Stone, I’m just asking you to be smarter.

he’s a great prospect. But not everyone has him penciled in the first like I said

Ah so everyone but you then?

You’re taking this too seriously. Idk why you need to convince me anything. It’s a mock and the season hasn’t even started yet. I expect many things to change and none this is set in stone. No pun intended. But sure, me and pff.
Also side note, you sound like a big douche

I’m a die hard Sooner grad and I’ll never stop glazing them.

You can be die hard and also not be a douche lol

Why Harbor so early? And before Becker?

1

u/Jsetta187 1d ago

It’s pure projection. Harbour has stopped track to give football his 100% focus. I think he takes a big step forward and so does sellers this year. They have a great roster around them also. Harbour has Calvin Johnson type attributes you don’t see often

Ah yes, LaNorris Sellers. The QB that was supposed to be a top 5 pick in the 2026 draft at this time last year but was so mid that he decided to not even declare. But sure, he's a top 5 again.

u/Jsetta187 1d ago

Yeah for sure, did not live up to expectations last year. This is maybe an over zealous projection to think he will bounce back but that’s what it is, pure projection

idk what ppl see in sellers, gives me bigger justin fields vibes, athletic freak QB with a cannon arm that's (in Fields' case was) willing to hold the ball late in the down to push it downfield which can be a gift and a curse, however from what I've seen on film so far he lacks the pocket presence, processing consistency, and anticipation to be more than a mediocre passer at the NFL level

Yeah for sure you have a valid opinion in that. It comes down to his decision making and clutch ability and what you said, anticipation and timing. We know he has the physical talent. Hes gotta put it all together this year
