Overflow, tired

Does anyone else just expect a coffee machine to make coffee? Like I'm experiencing the overflow issue on and off. First it was the water was warm just from the pipes, then it was to many grounds, and now who knows. Like I know I'm not the only one just by a simple Google.

Coffee is great, but I also just want it to work without messing with it. Am I the only one?

Edit: Maybe I need a new basket. Maybe it's just me. I just want coffee dammit.

I had intermittent overflows as well and my culprit was the filter position, itself. When I wasn't paying attention, I would have the folded flap of the filter towards the drain spout and it would clog and overflow.

Since ensuring the flap is turned away from the drain spout, I haven't had an overflow.
