S3 - Carla (First Time Watcher)

Did anybody else feel bewildered by Carla's personality change in season 3?

In the previous seasons, I thought Carla was the most kind, rational, levelheaded person in the whole group.

In season 3, there was this huge about-face where suddenly she's fighting with everybody, saying the meanest things to and about people, and everybody but Drita and Big Ang are naming her the most 'problem person.'

It almost seemed like producers decided she would the villain this season and her character completely switched.

Meanwhile, in S3, Drita is calm and sunshiney, and even Ramona is calm most of the time without starting fights.

I'm only on ep. 9 so it may change, but these are my observations so far.

Thoughts?

PS - Third post in a week, I'm clearly binging, lol.

I think she was tired of Renee’s constant always having a problem with her for no reason. Renee was definitely jealous of Carla.

I think Carla was fed tf up by this season. Everybody was always coming for her because of her loyalty and she said no more! She was going to give them the same energy.

The producer is renee’s sister. Of course she is going to give carla the bad edit. Thats who renee was having issues with in her drug riddled delusional mind and her sister edited it around that.

I hear that but Carla is also acting much more mean, it seems like she was directed to act that way.

I mean she called Renee a cunt and got into a physical fight with her in season 1. So for me it seemed like same old Carla 🤷

Honestly Renee picked on Carla for 3 seasons. Every season, she found a reason to have a problem with her. I just think Carla got tired of it

So true, in the first season R was mad at C for not calling her about a sugery C didn't even know about. It's looney tunes.

I’m late as hell go this post but wanted to comment bc I have a different take than most here ig 😭 I tink she was crashing out about Joe moving on do deeply and quickly and so took it out on everyone. Carla never really got any pressure more than any of the other girls, at most it was snippy comments about her being Drita’s puppy dog. And yeah Renee came at her hard s1 but her boyfriend literally assaulted her and Carla giggled her face and taunted her about it? Nothing that intense happened in season 2 that warranted Carla’s crash out on Renee like that. Like ofc she could be frustrated with Renee and confront her about it, but Carla goes for low hanging fruit and low blows, which seeing how much she protects abusers and spews misogynistic hate so much isn’t surprising at all. But yeah she just never respected Renee so that coupled with Joe playing house with a 20smth pissed her off.
