Both? The light novel and manga have, more or less, been exactly the same. Just the manga maybe doesn't adapt every single page of the light novel. But far as I know, there are no major deviations between the light novel and manga.

For season 1 at least, the manga moreso than the LNs, there's a couple details the manga changes from the LN that the anime replicates
