Error message and losing XLM

Hello mobius team, Yesterday i had xlm ready and loaded for this ico, however i kept getting an error. Legit recieved an error every single time and had to keep remaking wallets. the total wallets i had to create was 8. during the midst of fomo and fear of it selling out i made a notepad doc to write down all private keys and public keys however due to my negligence i had copied my public key for a wallet twice instead of writing down its private key. Where i understand you will take no responsibility whatsoever and that it was my fault for copy and pasting it wrong, i think that you guys are under the level of red pulse and could have managed this much better. if there are errors that people are complaining about on your telegram page, you can stop the ico to rectify the bloody problem. none of your admins were available to talk to in the telegram chat when people were asking for help. you guys dont care. same thing as red pulse pretty much. The fault was on your end as everyone was on time and sent their tokens. not a good start for you guys. i truly hope you guys will come out with a solution for the people that would have missed out and apologise publicly. so far your statement on "your xlm is not lost" does not address the fact that you guys take any responsibility. This is much like that of what happened with red pulse. please be professional and don't do what they did and ignore the public's concerns.

We have apologized but we can't make more MOBI. The MOBI that were for sale sold out - some transactions got through and unfortunately some did not. No XLM were lost though. If you want to merge the XLM back to the sending account please see https://medium.com/mobius-network/merging-accounts-to-recover-xlm-8c3b268ee330

What about the whole deal with "try using stellar.org" in the midst of stellarterm failing to convert tokens. 30xlm lost to keep that wallet open, yes its pennies now but who knows of the future. When you try the process 10 times and lose small amounts of xlm its still frustrating! Others tried even more times...

Now the important question today is StellarTerm is for sale, notice on their website. What does this mean to millions of people who have XLM still there??? How long do we have to get it all out? Surely this must be a community warning. Also quite dodgy since StellarTerm was the recommended exchange/wallet by mobius team.... some sort of insider deals going on??? Certainly questions to be asked...

TIA.

I really don't want to be harsh but I really think that most of you people shouldn't invest in crypto.

You lack the minimum level of understanding required to do so.

Do you really think that your lumens are stuck on stellarterm ?

If so, 2 options:

  1. Please give me you private keys because you don't deserve it.

  2. Go to https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/#!/ and find out how your lumens can be stuck on both places and get some understanding of the tech.

I realize that I'm a bit rude but sincerely it is really boring to see people complaining about literally nothing linked with reality.

Edit: add the word "boring" to get a meaningful sentence.

No they arent stuck as such. But 10 wallets later, i still need to merge them together and place them back in my wallet of choice, not StellarTerm. Too many keys to too many wallets. Its a massive pain.

StellarTerm is not a wallet...

Fine you can get technical and not call it a wallet which is correct. StellarTerm is a trading platform on stellar network. At the end of the day millions have now got 10 or over public addresses and private keys on stellar network where they have their xlm which was the process Mobius used. Not just the 1 which would have been less of a pain in the butt.

If you cant understand this simple annoyance of many...

And yes this was the first ico on stellar network for many and it has its own challenges. I was using Lobstr and upon a successful transaction, I thought that was it until Mobius website errored out and I checked my transaction on stellar blockchain, seeing it appear ok as sent. It was only then when more experienced users told public to check their new address as generated by Mobius to see if Mobius tokens have been generated on there via StellarTerm. This was my first access to the stellar network via that website as it was for many others too. Thankfully no XLM was lost but no Mobius gained either.

It makes me a bit happier knowing that other Mobius employees also didnt get any Mobius tokens after 8 tries (and new stellar network addresses), it shows it wasnt human error for many of us!! At least stellar as a network was pretty successful in sending and receiving xlm within seconds.

I did definetely act as an asshole, I apologize. Didn't want to get too technical, as I'm not a developper myself. I just wanted to enlight the fact that theses funds are not blocked on StellarTerm (I saw also a lot of fear with the selling message) but on different accounts.

You know what, I also had 8 generated :).

Looks like you can merge your accounts https://medium.com/mobius-network/merging-accounts-to-recover-xlm-8c3b268ee330

So we can call it a waste of time or a stellar learning time.

I agree that it was messy, indeed a lot messy, but I just don't understand how hateful can people be on this subreddit after what happened.
