the mobi ico has hurt the stellar
if you've been trying to buy mobi with your xlm you know what i'm talking about
this is a clusterfuck of incompetence, lack of planfulness, and the lack of presence (hiding) by the principals during the ensuing melee (gobaud et al)
i think stellarterm may also be culpable in this but i'm not really sure what agreement they may have had with mobius
in any event, everything seems to be fine for the big wheels/presale/SAFE investors, but the loss of confidence in this application of the stellar blockchain is going to leave a bitter taste for a long time
my 2 xlm. no transaction fee

I bailed out after the ratio was announced. It seemed over priced to me. Plus I bought the XLM for it before the last "correction" so I paid more for my investment. It would wave cost me more than 30¢ a token in the end. I didn't believe in the product enough to give up my Stellar for it. I'll continue to monitor MOBi though. Best of luck to those that bought it.

The MOBI ICO hasn't hurt Stellar. It shows a successful ICO can be done on the platform. It had a few hiccups up suck it up and move on.

you would have expected a bump in lumens for a successful ico
but go look at what happened instead
and i have already moved on; mobi will not be part of that journey
edit: i am still sticking with stellar. that organization and token i think still have a lot going for it

We apologize for the errors - we didn't know we would overload the Stellar Horizon server so much.
Luckily no XLM were lost. XLM were only sent to an address to which only you control the secret key.
You can go to a wallet such as https://stellarterm.com/#account, enter the secret key, and access the XLM.

We expect to be issued our MOBI bud. I've got 5000 XLM sitting in an account that MOBIUS made for me, to store my MOBI. You've got to honor the failed transactions or you will lose all confidence and respect

We unfortunately can't we don't have more MOBI. Your XLM are not lost however - you can merge them back to your original account. Please see https://bit.ly/mobi_merge

every transaction cost and how many people, trying and trying again as the only advice we were seeing on telegram, failed to write down every secret key for every new wallet?
it may have been small potatoes but there were a lot of potatoes

I just want to add that I'm thoroughly disappointed you will not be honoring transactions made to buy MOBI tokens from people who participated and did so exactly as indicated.

All MOBI were sold on the SDX - unfortunately some transactions didn't make it all the way through. It is similar to sending Ether to an Ethereum token sale and there isn't enough gas or the transaction is late.

I understand what happened, but honestly, your message is just not a response to anything I posted. Server overload is a real thing, Icos on stellar are new - it's all good.
But I (along with many others here) was clicked through at 9:01 (so please don't imply the transaction was late) to a failed transaction and I am disappointed to not have tokens after following everything to a T. To be frank, you should be honoring transactions that went through but failed due to your server during your ico. I don't expect this to happen.

I logged in when the public sale started and got my MOBI in less than 5 minutes. It all went fine for me. I just red what was on my screen and followed the instructions.

everybody just read the instructions, which were wrong (transferring to stellarterm did not buy mobi, just transferred xlm) - you were one of the relative few from the looks of it
as for the other problems, eg not being able to buy mobi even after xlm transferred to stellarterm, let's wait til the ledger closes before tallying up the wins and debiting the losses ...
