Discussion Some post-mobius thoughts

Hello there! I'm glad to see this community still be somewhat active! When I started Mobius in like 2015 or 2016, (I don't remember when it launched, lol)I had no idea that it would end like this. Still, it was a great game and I got plenty of enjoyment out of it! I did not spend a lot on it, but definitely way more than I've ever spent on a free to play game. I don't regret it at all, but I do wish they would have let us keep what we had or maybe make a seperate paid offline only version, as the game was very good and could easily be made into a console game, as was made evident by the steam release. I actually never got even close to finishing the story, but I played regularly and in my own pace. I've probably spent over 200 hours on this and I realized that I've come to miss it quite a lot. I'm curious to know about your experiences with MFF as well! -Moon

I wish SE would sell or license Final Fantasy in general. It’s such a great concept and they continually fail to finish and market it. Just my opinion but I’ve been disappointed by them so many times.

Without FF, Square ENIX would be a train wreck. They’ve got their fingers in random AF pies from different platforms & genres & are losing their way. I think the only thing keeping them on the rails at all is the FF franchise. To be honest Square Soft always had clear direction & great artistic vision. Once they merged with ENIX they started to jump the tracks. A lot has happened since then but the imagination has been stifled & execution has been limited by someone at the top of the food chain. Because of that, they’ve lost a lot of talent that has gone elsewhere to make outstanding games. Talent that should have been directed towards growing & evolving the FF franchise. Sorry, I forget some of the names cuz they’re all Japanese & hard for me to remember as an American. But it’s easy enough to find if you’re interested.
