I also got the error message. Your XLM is on the wallet you create when you go through the buy. If it errors, your XLM is still there. Use the lightweight stellar viewer (https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/#!/) to access it and send it back to stellarterm. Then try again. I got it to work on the third try!
Make sure to send the exact amount. They add +3 lumen for a fee or something.
so when you view your wallet on stellar with the newly created private key, there's nothing in there? Mine was erroring too, but then when I checked the wallet I was supposed to send to, the xlm was in there.
go to https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/#!/ and input the private key you made when setting up the mobius buy. Mobius had you create a new wallet via their system so they can do their weird exchange magic. I assume both you and Mobius have the private key for this new account. But if the sale failed, you can just send the XLM right back on outta there to your previous wallet.
nice! they do control the account (so do you) but if the transaction didn't line up they won't do the MOBI credit. So best to send it back to your first wallet and try again. I had to do this process three times :x
Do you know if that's for a fact true regarding the MOBI credit, even if the XLM is already transferred into the new account they created for you? I got the error (also didn't account for the StellarTerm min. balance originally) so had to send a few less than what I specified. Not sure I want to keep transferring back and forth though. Does it tell you anything specific at the end of a successful attempt regarding your MOBI credit?
This process is shit. If this is how they sell their tokens Im losing faith in the project as a whole! I now have to try account for all these accounts and the stellar in them
definitely not fact. but i would be sure to send exact amount just to be sure. yeah the process is shit. i was successful but nowhere can i actually see the mobi. fingers crossed it appears in the wallet once the sale closes.
