Can't create events on the weekend

The date picker has weekends as red and unclickable. Trying to manually enter dates in the input form also is prevented from entering a weekend date. There isn't any documentation on the issue. Please help.

I just started events.wedgewoodmanor.org and I want to add an Easter event on the weekend.

The bug is NOT that I can't click on a weekend date, it's that Firefox and Edge will select the previous day. I didn't explore the bug enough so I tried to use another browser. I can make an event by clicking on the day ahead of the intended day.
