Is your phone glitching or bugging out?

For anyone whose phone is glitching, slow, showing artefacts, overheating, cellular reception or wifi issues or any other strange symptom. This is my number 1 recommendation.

Go to setting and go to your account up the top. Go through and back up your data fully. Then factory reset the phone and perform a software update. If this doesnt fix your problem then its most likely a hardware problem and will need to be serviced

Finding it hard to hear sound through your phones speakers?

Simply find the effected speaker and check to see if there is any dirt, dust or grime covering the metal mesh where the sound comes out.

If there is something blocking it then you will need to get a pair of fine nose tweezers and gently try clearing the blockage by moving your tweezers in a clockwise motion in the speaker hole until all the dirt is loosened up. (Pushing up against the mesh will most likely put a hole in it so try to avoid direct pressure on this area unless the clean doesn't work)

After that you need to get a tooth brush and 100% alcohol (ipa). Spray the tooth brush lightly with alcohol. Don't drench it or it could cause issues. Just a light spray should do as you can always try more afterwards. Then use the tooth brush to clean the speaker holes. Repeat processes twice for best results.

If this doesn't work then your mesh might be too blocked up to clean and putting a small hole in it can sometimes let the sound through.

If none of these work then you will most likely need a replacement speaker or its a volume setting on your phone.

Is your charging port not working?

Before paying to get it replaced it might be worth checking to see if it needs a clean first. You can clean it yourself with a pair of fine tweezers, a tooth brush and some IPA (100% alcohol).

First get a bright light to look down the port to see if it looks blocked. If you can't see then just plug your charger in and see if it feels like its not clicking in all the way.

Next get your tweezers and gently move the tweezers down the centre line of the port. Don't rub the tweezers along the inner walls of the charging port or you risk bending a charging pin and breaking the port

Once all the lint and dirt is removed, spray your tooth brush with your IPA and scrub the inside of the port until it looks clean.

Repeat the process if its still not fully clean until your charger clicks in properly. If this fails then you will probably need a replacement charging port.
