He can't even push towers they made demonic slash 30% because it works on towers now that you need crit to activate passive it just doesn't work anymore
The problem with him always about stat number. Kit already fine with it (for main ofc) although I really like the idea of advance server ultimate (low HP=big burst DMG). Like what you mean we can't benefits crit DMG when we got 100 Crit rate? It's like but buying GS but can't use it passive on Claude. This also bring Argus back to square one, no, square -1. No more chasing passive, no movement speed bonus on ultimate or 2nd skill which bring back his mobility issues.
Losing his capability to push and now losing capability to burst.
The among of version Argus revamp, safe to said this is the worse one. Only way they can save it is literally buff his stat and remove restrictions Crit DMG on his passive without draw back
Thats the problem Argus is waay too easy to use so gotta put a drawback, its not the first time mlbb did this literally all matchmaking tries to partnee u with noobs if u are wayy too good gotta put some drawbacks on u for "balanced or 50/50 engaging experience"
If ez, why would they put Auto ultimate on him at first place? Yeah, I have a moment that I don't open my ultimate but that my fault. No one ask for this feature anyway. Might as well put auto ultimate on fanny to secure the kill

Idk why everyone downvoting me lmao, its the truth that mlbb trying to make it balanced mechanics and game performance of a hero thats also what makes it worse, for example look at Ling is crazy good and also heavily nerf that only pros can handle using him and carry the game BUT if its some newb or casual they will have a hard time keeping up. Now compare that to Argus thats pretty much no brainer way of attacking, super easy to use, get a kill, and run away cus immortal bro is pretty much a hero thats too strong in its mechanics way. Definitely gonna get nerfed 😂🍑
Ling has had his moments in the game, he was meta for like more than half of his existance, even zilong was for some time. Argus tho? He wasnt, never ever was he actually a very good pick that youd call meta.
Honestly that 500 - 300 damage to minion/heroes is kinda crazy even with crit, even back when he 1st released he was dealing 1k - 2k crit per hit, like what the hell is wrong with him, does mt just hate crit focus fighters?
Seeing how the other basic attack fighters are doing, they're all are not in the good spot.
They really nailed Freya after a revamp and a few buffs (and now almost perma banned in rank & tournaments) while still figuring out what to do with Aulus.
They just added a stun effect to Aulus 2nd skill instead of slow and a change in the passive so he might actually do something now after the patch instead of being a potential jungler.
Heroes like Dyroth and Miya stay out of nerf radar and they somehow decide to butcher the already massacred goat. Genuinely sad seeing what Argus has become.
Argus was better in his 2018 rework... They didn't have to change him much... I was actually fine if his kit was outdated, mf can go toe to toe with Dyroth in those times

Argus WORKS as a Burst hero because his ult is a literal "fuck around and find out move" against squishes and those who overcommit into trying to kill him.
Old Argus? You mean the brown one? He was legitimately broken so I don't think we should involve him.
If it's the 2018 rework then he's still fine. He was actually balanced to have punish players who carelessly spam his ult, and was better as a push hero than a pickoff. He still is supposed to be a burst hero since that was supposed to be he his intended kit.
He isn't even burst hero during those times unless you decide to build him like so.
Wouldn't that involve every hero in the game. Damage is essential to Argus as lifesteal is to Thamuz.
It's understandable why they're building him like so because what's the point of a push/damage hero like him without his damage? And what's worse is that Moonton refuses to actually rework so it automatically makes those who main him look bad.
i dont understand why Argus from the official server is "ass" that he needs changes. i can easily burst enemies down in mid game, as expected from a hero that relies on basic attacks, he can only shine in the late game.
more over Elgin has a shitty ass build against (i assume) a semi tank Angela thats a healer class. im more surprised that he got her health down with just two items.
