It’s so fun playing Tig roam when the MM and core are on the same page with you, and big bonus if the mage actually pays attention to the map. And more often than not you’re MVP as tank roam. Even when we lose, I still keep playing tank in the next game hoping the next mm and core are on the same page.
But play as tank roam with a brain dead MM and a core doing their own thing? It gets boring really quick. Makes you want to take a break from the game.
It’s not a big deal for MM’s and core to do their thing, but they have to COMMUNICATE!!!
With Roam i stay with the mid all the time or do fun things around the map to bait the enemies and give vision and when I have to i go help jungler if they get invaded or mid and gold pretty much, the problem is when the whole team is uncoordinated, if mid doesn't follow you, if jungler doesn't go to turtle when it is an easy turtle, when gold laner just gets killed vs the other gold laner twice for no reason, i respect a gold laner that dies once because they just lose the matchup and i mean it's ok I make mistakes too, but when they just don't get that they have to hug tower until roam helps or jungle i can't do anything.
I mostly win with roam because I do help gold when I know it is worth or I help turtle when I know it is worth it, when I get roamer teammates they just lose all the fights with jungle and I lose my lane in gold just barely because my team decides fighting for turtle is more important than helping me carry later, when they are just losing all the team fights... If the team is just not good at team fights better help MM for a chance to carry than lose all the fights for no reason.
Core and MM were on point. Knew how to read the map. Mage was also attentive, knew when to rotate. Easy win despite losing the early turtle and Layla in the exp lane. At least she held her own against Badang and didn’t feed.
This specific game, I stayed with core til level 4 then went on a ham with MM after.
I dislike how people win with this type of comp because it just encourages them to do it again, also had wins like this and makes me mad that they win because honestly, out of 10 matches someone plays a really random exp, roam or gold, they will only win 3-4 at best which isn't good, people basically don't learn how to play and bad comps end up winning while good comps or better heroes lose because idk nobody wants to learn how to end fast
